She is a family therapist and an executive coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I now present the excerpt which begins with a <strong><em>short story<\/em><\/strong> followed by the <strong><em>Possibility Premise<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Short Story<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A shoe factory sends 2 marketing scouts to a region in Africa to study the prospects for expanding business. One sends back a telegram saying SITUATION HOPELESS STOP NO ONE WEARS SHOES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other writes back triumphantly GLORIOUS BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY STOP THEY HAVE NO SHOES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And now the \u2018<strong><em>Possibility Premise\u2019<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our premise is that many of the circumstances that seem to block us in our daily lives may only appear to do so; based on a framework of assumptions we carry with us. Draw a different frame around the same set of circumstances and new pathways come into view. Find the right framework and extraordinary accomplishment becomes an everyday experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you everyone for taking timeout and listening to the podcast. Attention: is important and most of the times we are so indifferent to it. It is as fundamental as food; and we go blundering about, seeking ways to assuage the craving, instead of learning how to provide ourselves with what we need, sensibly and calmly. We feed the hunger blindly.
